Doing our part for the Environment

We hosted a gathering of town citizens earlier this week, organized by the Tarrytown Environmental Advisory Council.  They had a nice crowd of about 20 and covered the topic Keep Warm Save Money.  We provided tea and munchies.  The event went well and we heard from a few people the following day.  As a nice bonus to us, some bought loose leaf tea on their way out.  We got a formal Thank You letter today which said:

"The event was a grand success, providing residents with expert information on energy and money saving ways to reduce emissions in their homes.  The evening was taped and will appear on the web.  We will let you know when it is up and when any follow-up articles appear.  We are grateful to partner with you and thankful for your generosity - and for the efforts you are making as a green business in the Village."

How very nice!  Thanks to Ms. Griffiths, Chair of the Council and to Ms. Schwarz, the Project Director.  We were happy to help.
