Another month gone! This being our off season, we are planning repairs, replacements and changes. Here are some of our plans for this month:
New Tea Catalogue
New Air Conditioning unit for the front of the store
Repairs and changes to some items at the back of the house
The new tea catalogue will have fewer teas but additions in areas we think needed strength - Assams, Earl Grey, House Blends. We are still finalizing the all-important Green Tea section. We have some new Rooibos blends that should please our non-caffeine customers.
Air Conditioning - it is going on 11 years for us and what worked for a smaller store is no longer good enough. We are entertaining bids from several HVAC companies and should have this wrapped up soon. Thank you for bearing with us. We installed a portable air cooler in the kitchen to provide immediate relief to our hard workers at the back.
Time for a coat of paint here and there, a change-out of one of the counters to stainless steel and we should be ready for our busy season. Advance warning to all - we will probably be closed the week immediately following Labor Day taking care of all this but we will post prominently around mid-month.
