Who knew...

We receive several tea e-newsletters.  One of them yesterday carried this small, but important story on India calling for Tea to be its national drink.  This is carrying coals to Newcastle.  I mean, really?  Does India need to be urged to do this?  Shame, shame.  With Assam & Darjeeling regions known the world over for one product - Tea - you would think this was already a fact.  But no, the North-Eastern Tea Association of India has to actively advocate to make this a reality.  The recent article in the Assam Tribune makes the case passionately - the facts are overwhelming.  Come on, do it already.
