Tough job but someone has to do it

We're smack dab in the middle of sampling all the goodies we sourced from the Fancy Food Show this summer.  We sample against several key objectives:
  • Focus on sweet rather than savory
  • Keep the packages small
  • Definitely include chocolate
  • A cookie-type product should be part of the mix
We've learned over the years that our customers strongly favor sweet gourmet treats rather than savory, at least at our Tea Room.  No matter the high quality of some of the scrumptious non-sweet items we've found over the years, they do not appeal to our customer base the way our specially-selected sweet products do.  Here's a sampling of what we've reviewed so far and we can see it's going to be tough to choose this year.  Stay tuned.  New items will start showing up at the Tea Room in October.
