Steep Your Own Tea

On this morning's radio show, "The Daily Dose with Dr. Oz, I heard him encouraging listeners to brew their own coffee and tea.  I couldn't agree more.  It saves money, allows you variety as well as a high quality product if you steep loose leaf tea.  All you need is a basic infuser basket or disposable filter.  Many teapots and tea mugs nowadays come with their own infuser basket.  An easy alternative is to have a stand-alone infuser basket which fits most cups or mugs.  Here are three: [caption id="attachment_4392" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Fine-mesh basket with its own lid which can act as a coaster[/caption] [caption id="attachment_4393" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Easy to use, ideal for green or oolong tea which are best enjoyed slightly cooled[/caption]
