Customers - not always right

Everyone but one person at one table got this.  It's one free dessert that we randomly give away to one table each weekend day in August.  We select it at random (which means the servers don't select the table) and we give it away.  The one person who did not understand this ordered the "free dessert".  When we explained that it was One Free Dessert Giveaway each weekend day in August, he argued horribly (and loudly) about us misleading customers.  The manager was called, no one was placated and he was miffed durng his entire stay.  Other customers were baffled at his inability to understand. After a while, it was time for the giveaway and we selected the table for the Freebie, gave the dessert away and the table for 4 that got it were so happy they gave Jacque flowers!  So you win some, you lose some.
