Pumpkin & Spice & Everything Nice!

Pumpkin flavors are everywhere. Some stores started offering their Pumpkin Spice items as early as August. Dunkin' Donuts launched theirs on August 4th. Starbucks followed in early September. We tend to wait until October when the leaves actually start to turn and our towns of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow become wonderfully orange. Even the street signs are in orange. The Headless Horseman lives again. Washington Irving awaits. October is our time. 

So we've brought back our very popular Pumpkin Chai, Green Pumpkin Cream, and of course, Pumpkin Scones at the Tea Room.
You can make Pumpkin Chai with any of our Chais but our favorites are the Original Blend as well as Temple Chai. The Original Blend contains cinnamon, cardamom, ginger and vanilla whereas the Temple Chai is simple and fragrant with just cardamom and vanilla.  Others swear by Chocolate Chai as the base for Pumpkin Chai, but you can experiment.  The essential ingredient is, of course, the Pumpkin, so be generous and blend yourself a cup.
Green Pumpkin Cream
Green Pumpkin Cream is our Fall sleeper hit. It has a perfectly balanced and inviting aroma and taste of Pumpkin and Vanilla Cream with the added surprise of being on a Green Tea base.  Light and fragrant - it is a customer favorite and it's back for a limited time.

And if you're visiting our Tea Room, you cannot pass up our scrumptious Pumpkin Scones, served with Cream & Marmalade.  If you're in the mood to indulge, ask for Clotted Cream.
