We often get emails from Tea Room customers asking about teas and if our shop is still open and where they can get our sandwich recipes and if we have a website. Here is one we got in our inbox a few days ago. We were happy to direct her to Homestyle Desserts in Peekskill.
"Hi! I was born in Tarrytown and growing up, my Grandma took me to Silver Tips Tearoom all the time. It is one of my fondest memories. One of my grandma's favorite parts of a lunch at the tearoom was a layered lemon cake for dessert. Her 85th birthday is coming up and I would love to be able to get her that same cake. I was wondering if there was anyone from the tearoom who remembers where they would order their cakes from? I would be over the moon if I could find it.
