This is your perfect daily green. Certified Organic, and Biodynamic, our Makaibari Green is specially manufactured for us. It is mellow, floral with no vegetal notes with all the healthful benefits of a Green Tea. An elegant long-leaf in style, able to withstand multiple infusions. A bestseller. This particular lot was manufactured later in the year so no need to be heavy-handed with the leaf. The leaf is unsorted and variegated in appearance.

Steeping Instructions
Use 1 Tbsp. leaf per 8 oz. cup.
Allow boiling water to cool slightly, then pour over leaves.
Steep 2 mins. May be re-infused.
Tea Education
Although Darjeeling is known predominantly for its fragrant and floral black teas, it also manufactures Green teas. Makaibari was the pioneer of both Darjeeling Greens as well as the long-leaf style of this tea. Green teas can sometimes be grassy or smokey. The Makaibari greens have no vegetal notes but only a pleasing, lasting mild floral note, making it ideal for the new Green tea drinker. It is one of our bestsellers and it is an easy cup to enjoy all day long. Multiple infusions are encouraged. Steep each subsequent infusion an additional 20 seconds. Best enjoyed without milk or sugar and as it cools.

Growing up I was local to Silver Tips and it is an immense privilege to be able to experience their offerings once again through their online shop after moving. This makes for a sensational cold brew tea with a subtle yet potent and steady caffeine boost throughout the day— this is my daily tea now! I have been brewing 2 tablespoons per quart of cold filtered water in the fridge nitty for 12-16 hours, depending on the strength you like, in a mason jar filter (you can also brew loose, just strain the water after). The vanilla flavoring paired with the black tea addition makes this one of a kind. The aroma is wonderful. Thank you so so much!! I hope you can continue offering this blend for years to come!

This is my all time favorite tea. It smells and tastes wonderfully.
This has become a favorite after receiving a free sample and then ordering some more, which is now all gone! Some chai with clove in it is overwhelmed by that strong flavor, but here the balance is perfect. There is a hint of clove if I look for it, and the pepper is pleasantly noticeable. A nice addition on my tea shelf beside the original Silver Tips chai.
