Yesterday, a mom came in with her 7-year old daughter and niece and requested if they could be seated by themselves. She assured us she would keep an eye on them (and she did!). They sat by the window, ordered the Afternoon Tea service and, as they lifted their cups to sip their tea, they waved at the people on the street. They engaged our staff in a lively conversation asking Christina, "What got you into tea" and "How long have you worked here". One of the girls said, "Can you believe my cousin never had a scone before?" All in all, they had a great afternoon. The Mom said, this was a "big day for them". For us too - thank you!
