Black tea Cuts Blood Pressure

A highly respected study published last week described a randomized double-blind trial that included 95 men and women ages 35 to 75 who were regular tea drinkers.  Consuming black tea for six months resulted in a significant drop in blood pressure for them compared to those drinking a placebo that had caffeine but not black tea.  The study indicates that benefits could be enjoyed by drinking three cups each day.  Read more on the details of the study here.
