An envelope arrived today at the Tea Room with a hand-written note from a customer. It said that she had visited us on Saturday, January 28th with her daughters from about 2 to 3.15 pm. She had received great service from one of our "wonderful" servers and she regretted that she had forgotten to leave a tip. With the note was an enclosed check for the forgotten tip. Now, this is indeeed something to make our day. Thank you, Katie. It is not everyday that someone goes out of their way to acknowledge the service they received and then actually does something about it. Your kindness was enjoyed and appreciated. We will pay it forward.
