After several weeks of events, some catastrophes, a few calamities, we hope things are settling down for everyone. We've gone through our fair share - interruption in phone service unrelated to Sandy, a burst pipe at the office which resulted in the office carpet having to be replaced, then the hurricane, then snow and gas shortage followed by yet another power failure earlier this week....whew! We decided not to have our Anniversary celebration as we usually do early November. It just did not feel quite right while so many were still suffering. We will allot one Saturday in December for a fund-raiser for our local Food Pantry in Tarrytown and celebrate our 14 years by giving to others who are less fortunate than we are. Meanwhile, we realize Thanksgiving is almost here and people are starting to look towards the holidays so we have started to stock up our Tea Room shelves with new teaware - infuser mugs, teapots, tea caddies, canisters and tea cozies. There's something for everyone at all price points. Come in and browse and enjoy one of our great Scones while you're there - we have Apple Cinnamon, Blueberry, Cranberry & Pumpkin.
