On my treks around the plantation, I saw areas with many stakes in the ground. I was walking with Dev, our manager, and asked him what these were. He explained that through pruning or natural life cycle, bushes thinned down and required replanting. As saplings were planted, they dug a stake into the ground to indicate where infilling had been done. Neat!
