Green Tea Reduces Strokes

This week, the results of a study published in the American Heart Association journal, Stroke indicated that the more green tea you drank, the more it reduced your chance of suffering a stroke.  This was a significant study which included over 80,000 participants.  Although widely known that catechins in green tea had beneficial effects on stabilizing blood pressure and acted as an anti-inflammatory agent, this study went further and specifically examined the linkage to reducing strokes.  It wasn't just Green Tea that seemed to be effective - coffee was also equally useful.  In this past week alone, we have seen an increase in our Green Tea sales along with specific mention by customers of this study which was all over the airwaves and as recently as this morning on NPR news.
